What We Offer

Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI)

Premium Life offers a Unit-linked Life Insurance and a Variable Cover Whole of Life Insurance solutions. Both are Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) contracts which combine a segregated investment account with life cover protection. Such products are ideal for high net worth individuals to make flexible investments and sound asset allocation decisions. Please see more details below:

Premium International Plan (PIP)

The PIP product is a Unit-linked Life Insurance contract, combining an investment account with life cover protection. It is set-up as a single or multiple premium contributions policy linked to an investment portfolio held in a segregated account.

As a life insurance policy, in the event of the death of the life assured, it will provide a death benefit, the value of which will depend on the life cover option selected by the policyholder. The PIP policy may be partially or fully surrendered by the policyholder.

The policyholder sets and controls key investment and insurance parameters of the policy. This includes stating the investment strategy they want to pursue, indicating their choice of investment manager and custodian, appointing the beneficiaries, and specifying the choice of life cover. The policyholder is able to change most of these parameters during the lifetime of the policy.

Variable International Plan (VIP)

The VIP product is a Variable Cover Whole of Life Insurance contract with no cash value, combining an investment product with life cover protection. It is set-up as a single or multiple premium contributions policy linked to an investment portfolio held in a segregated account.

VIP is an insurance contract with benefits only payable on the event of death of the life/lives assured, where the death benefit payable to the designated beneficiaries is variable. The VIP policy may not be partially or fully surrendered after the commencement date. The VIP policy has no cash surrender value.
